Theatre Technician and Designer
Olliver Young is a graduate of Castleton University earning a BA in Theater Arts with a concentration in Technical Theater and Design. His professional goals include working as a general theater technician and artist as well as furthering his education in lighting and scenic design.

SCENIC/CARPENTRY
Creating a ground plan and elevations using hand-drafting and Vectorworks, creating a production model, comfortable with power tools and saws, experience with foam carving, making a cut list, building flats, MIG welding, and scenic painting skills including wood graining, bricks, rocks, and marbling, experience with building, buying, borrowing, and pulling props, comfortable maintaining organization of props utilizing prop tracking, prop tables, and prop cabinets
DESIGN
Production design experience with lighting and scenic. Classroom design experience with scenic, lighting, costume, and hair and make-up. Comfortable with design processes. Knowledge of hand drafting and CAD using Vectorworks.
